PRAYAS ABHINAV on Non-distinction

The sixth meet in the series of ‘Invitation for a Coup’ was held with teacher and artist Prayas Abhinav in conversation with the audience in the format of study groups. This format partly replicated his ongoing practice of conducting virtual online study groups over web-based real time group conversations, which he calls ‘Surfatial’. Each group was given positions like Polarity, Non-Confrontation, Discussion, Analogy, and Argument to contextualize their interventions and continuations. This confluence of thought-nodes created a randomness that was akin to a subsistent coup of sorts. Prayas introduced his fictional characters and also went on to introduce his other web based project called The Museum of Vestigial Desires.
