Conducted in relation to Nasreen Mohamedi’s retrospective, in this talk the speakers, who are all practicing artists from different generations, furthered the idea of our understanding of Nasreen through their memories of her, both as a teacher and an artist as well as an extraordinary human being. They elaborated on the relationship they shared with Nasreen as her students and the ideology and ideas they imbibed through her proximity to them. Throughout the session, they delved upon their own art practice and the impact Nasreen had on them and their work.
