Looking beyond ballet, Drupad, music recitals and sound healing, #WeekendsAtKNMA, brings you a modern contemporary dance concert in which movement becomes the medium for communication. Interpreting ideas and feelings invoked by Raza’s ‘Bindu’, creative expression arises from the dark and light spaces.
Creating movement without a narrative, it becomes a rhythm that interprets the energy flow of his monumental works. A crisp set by dancer Vasundhara Negi of Navdhara India Dance Theatre, choreographed by Ashley Lobo, drawing from the legacy and impact of Raza’s style which has changed the Indian artscape.
