Khwabgaah is a series of paintings, done with oil paints on tin cans, by Hajra waheed, that contain the immeasurable sky, and its infinite possibility, even in turmoil and times of crisis. These skies are of Kashmir, from where hajra’s family had to flee in emergency, leaving their home, relatives and memories behind. This sky, is a reminder, that even in times of crisis, the skies of imagination, and of resistance, are always open, shining a beautiful ray of hope and light.

ख्वाबगाह नमक यह पेंटिंग्स की सीरीज को ऑयल पेंट्स से टीन पर पेंट किया गया है, जिनमे एक असीम और अनंत आसमान को सतह पर लाया गया है। यह आसमान, कश्मीर के आसमान हैं जहाँ से हाजरा के परिवार को अपने घर, रिश्तेदारों और यादों को छोड़ अकस्मात कश्मीर से जाना पड़ा। यह आसमान, प्रतीक हैं की मुश्किल समय के दौरान भी अनंत संभावनाओं का; और एक नए काल का। कल्पना और आज़ादी के यह आसमान, अपनी किरणों से हमारे अंदर उम्मीद की रौशनी पैदा करने की क्षमता रखते हैं।
