Art Trek – medium exploratory
An introductory workshop, where participants explore traditional mediums such as painting, drawing, pen and ink as well as temporal mediums such as video and sound. The workshops aid in theoretical as well as practical knowledge in the realm of art making.
These workshops include an in-depth understanding of color, value and placement of elements to create dynamic and aesthetic compositions. Participants are taught the techniques and tools such as design, paint consistency and application as well as a conceptual understanding of themes and ideas to carry out their own explorations.
Drawing Club
A drawing exploratory workshop for beginners as well as advanced levels, various mediums such as charcoal drawing, graphite and chalks explored! The focus of the workshop would be an in-depth exploration of values, form, composition, technique and observation.
This workshop will help the participants with various techniques in drawing, such as shading, line drawing, rapid and detailed sketches of still life compositions and human anatomy lessons, as well as perspective drawing. Explore both traditional and innovative approaches to line drawing. Participants are encouraged to find their own distinct style and technique of drawing and art making.
Print Club
The Print Club was specially formulated to initiate the participants into various methods of printmaking. Printmaking is a technique of art making carried on by transferring ink from a prepared screen to a sheet of paper or other material. This process enables the production of multiples of the same image.
The program includes various forms of traditional and experimental print making like Linocut, Woodcut, Screen Printing and Block Printing. The workshop includes a comprehensive understanding of the technique and procedure involved in various printmaking practices.
