About the Event
Join us at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art for a special evening marking the closing of Of Worlds Within Worlds — a landmark retrospective tracing six decades of Gulammohammed Sheikh’s visionary artistic practice.
Curated by Roobina Karode, Director & Chief Curator at KNMA, the evening will include a series of reflective conversations and insights into the artist’s contributions to modern and contemporary Indian art.
The evening will feature:
A talk on the artist by Geeta Kapur
A discussion moderated by Gayatri Sinha
A closing response by Gulammohammed Sheikh himself
This closing event promises a rare convergence of voices that have shaped and reflected on the evolution of contemporary Indian art, offering audiences an opportunity to engage with Sheikh’s work through multiple perspectives.
