About the Event
Celebrating Watercolour Month through a series of engaging Saturday Family Workshops, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art invites children and families to discover the many creative possibilities of this expressive medium.
This Saturday family workshop invites you to step away from the realistic images and explore the playful world of abstraction. Using watercolour—a fluid and unpredictable medium—you’ll discover how colour, shape, and line can express ideas, memories, and forms that showcase a new way to connect with ourselves.
Abstraction in painting allows us to move beyond the visible, to capture the rhythm of a thought, the weight of a feeling, or the energy of a place. Through guided prompts, you’ll create layered compositions that reflect your inner world.
Whether you are new to painting or looking to afresh your style, The Inner Playground is a space to experiment, reflect, and enjoy the freedom of painting from within.
