About the Event
The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), in collaboration with the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi, presents Moomin 80 - The Door is Always Open, the first-ever Moomin presentation in India. Opening on 7 August 2025 at KNMA’s Interactive Terrain (IT) in Saket, the exhibition celebrates the 80th anniversary of the beloved Moomins, created by acclaimed Finnish artist, author, and illustrator Tove Jansson.
This interactive and immersive presentation invites audiences into the enchanting world of Moominvalley a place of hope, friendship, belonging, and imagination. Through hands-on, child-friendly experiences, visitors can discover Moomin characters, explore their stories, and engage in play, empathy, and creative expression. The exhibition also offers a personal glimpse into Tove Jansson’s life and artistic journey through a compelling blend of writing, painting, and illustrations.
