Saturday Family Workshop
Travel back in time through art as you learn to build and paint on beautifully textured surfaces, inspired by centuries-old murals found in Roman catacombs, the painted halls of Jaipur palaces, and Renaissance-era Italian frescoes. In this interactive session, participants will create their own painting base using clay (khadia mitti) and Arabic gum, blending a soft, earthy texture onto the paper.
Guided by educators, you’ll learn to make textured surfaces and sketch ideas inspired by stories, memories, nature, and imagination, which vary from flowers and faces to animals. This workshop blends storytelling, history, and creative exploration for both kids and adults.
