KNMA participated in the CII Conference on Art and Culture held at Taj Mahal, New Delhi on 30 September 2019. A platform to bring together decision makers, scholars, officials and gallerists to discuss initiatives and policies in the sector of art, craft and culture. KNMA Director, Kiran Nadar gave a special address to the congregation while KNMA Director and Chief Curator Roobina Karode was a panellist and discussed her experience curating the India Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. The catalogue published by KNMA of the exhibition Our Time for a Future Caring at the India Pavilion celebrating 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi was launched at the conference.
