The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) presents Slow is the New Urgent, a transformative installation curated by Avik Debdas at the KNMA Art Passage, the skybridge connecting Nexus Select CITYWALK and DLF South Court Mall.

The exhibition invites visitors to step away from the urgency of daily life and enter a space of reflection. Beginning with a trail of colorful turtles, the passage gradually shifts into environments that confront issues of rampant consumerism, environmental strain, and digital surveillance. Through these immersive experiences, the installation encourages “slow looking”—an act of pausing, observing, and engaging more deeply with art and the world around us.

The exhibition features works by eleven contemporary artists:

Anshu Jakhar, C.K. Rajan, Hifzul Kabeer, K.M. Madhusudanan, Manveer Singh, Mohd. Intiyaz, Pallavi Singh, Schön Mendes, Slipa Sheeja, Sonam Chaturvedi, Tahsin Akhtar

By situating this thought-provoking exhibition within one of Delhi’s busiest commercial hubs, KNMA continues its commitment to integrating art into public life, offering audiences moments of quiet introspection amidst the noise of everyday commerce and technology.
